Jo-Ná A. Williams (she/her) is the Chief Counsel at Advancing Health Equity, where she provides legal counsel and representation on business law, workplace compliance, and intellectual property matters.
She is also the founder of J.A. Williams Law P.C., established in 2012 to help entrepreneurs, organizations, and companies protect their businesses, build lasting legacies, and develop strategies for long-term success. With offices in both New York and Texas, her firm reflects her commitment to empowering clients through accessible, high-impact legal services.
Jo-Ná’s work has been widely recognized. She was named Intellectual Property & Business Attorney of the Year by Acquisition International in 2019, and honored as one of the Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 by the National Black Lawyers that same year. In 2023 and 2024, she was also named to their list of the Top 100 Lawyers in the country.
Beyond her legal practice, Jo-Ná is a dedicated runner and volunteer coach for Girls on the Run, a nonprofit that empowers preteen girls through running and life skills.
